Thank you to an anonymous commenter who identified the crew as: Grant Retzlaff, Dawn McKenzie, Julie Sundquist, Audra McKenzie, Kirsten Nelson, Eric Solberg, Chris Kueber, and Stacy Vrem.
According to the church history, there is a long tradition of children singing in church at Sundahl. In 1984, there was a group from tiny to teens giving praise to the Lord!
This is the Psalty character from the Kid's Praise Musical being performed in 1984.
It appears that the choir is ready for a cantata in 1983. From left to right the ones I see are:
Paul Huso, Kathy Johnson, Luella Burros, Pastor Erik Johnson, Evelyn Fougner, Brenda Kiefat, Jim Huso, Annetta Nelson, Jon Lusty, Joan Huso, Karen Retzlaff, Don Fuglem, Becky Nelson, Diane Huso, Bill Miller, Janelle Gehrke, Don Huso, Norma Severinson, Ruth Retzlaff, Dorothy Kleven, Herlof Huso, and Myrtle Solberg.

The High School Sunday School Class met at the Bill Miller home for some fun including this pyramid. Adult supervisor included Jim Huso in a blue shirt on the bottom. Photo by Bill.
Henry Abrahamson was in charge of cooking the pigs. The fire is contained in a stock tank as the spit slowly rotates above. In the background Randy Johnson visits with Milford Fougner.
From left to right: Jim Huso, Henry, Oscar Huso, Odin Westman, John Anfinrud, Chuck Ulvog, and Pastor Anfinrud watch the process and enjoy the aroma.
Ready for carving. Doug Hedstrom in the background.
Verna Anfinrud, Thoris Huso, and Henry serve those in line including Mitchell Kjar, David Anfinrud and Kim Smaaladen.
There was quite a crowd on hand that day. Do you recognize the faces? Esther Westman is serving beverages. Click on the picture to enlarge it.
Fun and fellowship at the Joe Miller farm in 1972 included a pig roast!
Carol Fougner, Jim, Sandy, and Jane Huso sing as Brian and David Huso, Randy Johnson and David Anfinrud accompany them on kazoo. They are practicing to do a church service at the Tokio Lutheran Mission where Sandy and Jane had served as Vacation Bible School teachers.
Jim and Randy are practicing a skit involving good and evil. Clearly Randy was very menacing with his bullwhip that he could crack as well as Zorro. The boys grew beards in honor of the Aneta Diamond Jubilee.
Sandy is pictured above following a Vacation Bible School program at The Tokio Lutheran Mission. The Mission has become Dacotah O'yate Lutheran Church and is supported by the Eastern North Dakota Synod. Click Here to learn more about the ministry as it is today.
